A Colorado man is wanted in connection with an alleged failed bank robbery after a teller was unable to read his illegible note, according to authorities.

The attempted robbery occurred on December 17, shortly before 5 p.m., at the First National Bank located at 750 North Lincoln Ave. in Loveland, Colorado. The Loveland Police Department reported that the suspect entered the bank and handed a note to the teller.

Illegible Note Foils Robbery

The note was reportedly almost completely illegible, making it difficult for the teller to understand its contents. According to CBS Colorado, the man became visibly frustrated as the teller struggled to decipher the note. He eventually left the bank empty-handed.

Suspect Description

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect. He was wearing a brown hoodie, green pants, a green baseball cap, sunglasses, and brown gloves at the time of the incident.

Police Investigation

The Loveland Police Department is actively investigating the incident and has released the surveillance images in hopes of identifying and locating the suspect.
