Blake Lively vs. Justin Baldoni: Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

Who is Justin Baldoni, the actor and director who was sued by Blake Lively for sexual harassment?

Popular actress Blake Lively recently filed a lawsuit against her “It Ends with Us” co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, for sexual harassment after months of reports of their strained relationship on set.

Here’s what we know about the 40-year-old actor and director.

The son of Sharon and Sam Baldoni, Justin Baldoni was born in 1984 in Los Angeles and raised in Medford, Oregon.

His mother is a Feng Shui designer, according to information on her Instagram, and his father, before taking on the role of producer for his son’s projects, including “My Last Days” and “Clouds,” was the chairman and CEO of Baldoni Entertainment, a marketing and entertainment firm.

Baldoni is a devout follower of the Baha’i faith and has on several occasions shared posts on social media about his faith in the religion.

After taking his first steps in acting in a 2004 episode of the soap opera “The Young and the Restless”, while still young he also took roles in “Heroes”, “The Bold and the Beautiful” and developed a talk show called “Man Enough”.

She is now called Emily Baldoni in her film and television credits such as Agents of SHIELD and NCIS: Los Angeles. She also starred in the movie “It Ends With Us” to portray the role of doctor Julie.

Baldoni and his wife have credits on the satirical soap opera “Jane the Virgin”, a television show in which Baldoni is known for his role as Rafael Solano from 2014-2019.

According to information on the company’s LinkedIn website, Baldoni co-founded the film studio Wayforever Entertainment in 2013, which later produced “It Ends With Us.”

The making of It Ends With Us, based on the novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover, was plagued by rumors that Lively and Baldoni had a falling out during filming.

Business Insider reported that Baldoni had stayed away from press events with other cast members, and the pair were not photographed together at the film’s premiere.

In her lawsuit, Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, retaliation and breach of contract, saying the actor caused her “emotional distress” and conspired to harm her public reputation ahead of the film’s release. Baldoni’s lawyer has called the claims made in the complaint “completely false” and “deliberately untrue”
