Trump Proposes Sending Violent Criminals to Other Countries for a Fee
Speaking at the Republican Party’s House of Representatives policy meeting held at the National Doral Resort near Miami, former U.S. President Donald Trump addressed a variety of issues, emphasizing that „America’s golden era has officially begun.“ During his speech, Trump revisited concerns over the Panama Canal and criticized the 1977 U.S.-Panama treaty that handed over control of the canal to Panama. He described the canal as „one of the most profitable creations ever built“ and accused China of attempting to take over its operations. „We won’t let that happen,“ he declared.
„We Don’t Want Violent Offenders in Our Country“
Highlighting border security and the ongoing issues of illegal immigration, Trump stated, „We are tracking, detaining, and deporting illegal alien criminals from our country. We make no apologies for that, and we’re moving quickly.“ Trump expressed his desire to expand this effort to include violent American criminals.
„I don’t want violent offenders in our country, just as I don’t want illegal foreigners engaging in bad behavior here,“ he said. Trump proposed a plan to deport repeat offenders and violent criminals to foreign nations for a small fee. „If they’ve been arrested multiple times and keep committing crimes, I want them out of our country,“ Trump stated. He further explained, „We could send them abroad at a very low cost and let others take care of them. This would save federal resources by avoiding the use of private prisons.“

Trump defended his executive order ending birthright citizenship for children of immigrants born on U.S. soil, a policy he enacted immediately after taking office. He argued that the practice was never intended for immigrant children but was originally designed for the descendants of slaves.
„If you look at it, this was really about the children of slaves,“ Trump claimed. „It wasn’t meant for people flying into our country or crossing the border to have their children automatically become citizens. I hope the courts realize this one day.“

Despite the Republicans’ slim majority in both chambers of Congress, Trump predicted record-breaking success. „As long as we remain united, the 119th Congress will go down in history as the most successful Congress and the most successful Republican majority,“ he said. „I believe we have a chance to achieve that.“
